| Crossing
the Haute-Loire, the Allier is a deep and often narrow gorged river,
sometimes impressive which widens in Langeac and Brioude plains.
The
sites are varied, and exceptionally beautiful. The villages which
line the valley have been able to preserve their traditional aspect
(Prades, St Julien des Chazes, Chilhac, Lavoute Chilhac, St Ilpize,
Vieille Brioude).
The
diversity of the views corresponds to the variety of difficulties
for canoeing.
Between
Langogne and Auzon, beginners as well as experts can find suitable
difficulties. |
